May 2020 till December 2020, OCN had been awarded four different work package by HQC Engineering Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Company, consisting of Electrical & Instrumentation Installation Work, Civil & Structural Work, Ground Flare Installation Work plus Mechanical Piping Installation Work for the GPS LPG Terminal at West Port, Klang Selangor.
May 2020, OCN was awarded a contract by PETRONAS for the Revamp & Upgrading of HPP PCC System under a EPCC Basis involving Mechanical System, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System at their Bangi Research Centre.
December 2019, OCN was awarded a contract by GE Engine Service Sdn Bhd for a Warehouse Upgrading Work involving Structural Steel Platform & Building M&E Services under a EPCC Basis at MAS Engineering Complex, Subang Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Selangor.
OCN Spot On Technology was being engaged by TITAN to carry out engineering design and authority approval for a new 6 km 600mm diameter water pipeline linking an existing Syarikat Air Johor reservoir to TITAN plant in Pasir Gudang. The water pipeline design involved many challenges due to various types of underground utilities presence along the way ranging from PETRONAS gas pipes, TNB high voltage cables, Water pipes, etc. The work includes few pipe jacking at more about 6m deep, road crossings at major junctions which required proper Traffic Management Plans, etc. OCN Spot On Technology manged to work closely with the main contractor and the local authorities in managing design changes required due to site constraints and deliver the project to TITAN on time for the expansion pre-commission in 6 months.
A temporary facilities design and build contract for Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn., Bhd., at their Westport Terminal was completed and ready for occupation in mid October, ready for the next phase of their terminal expansion project.
The electrical and instrument installation works for the SAKURA Ferroalloys Brex Plant in Samalaju, Sarawak was successfully completed and commissioned in August 2017.
This was a follow on contract from the earlier completed E & I, fire detection and protection works and support services at the same location.
Project consisted of 6 no drilling base oil tanks, piling and civil works, interconnecting pipe works, electrical and instrumentation, tank gauging system, area lighting, and lightning protection.
Scope of work included rotating equipment servicing and maintenance and manpower supply for piping and general works.
